Crazy driver claims of hearing voices as he randomly drivers over victims.
In Tennessee – Jefferson City PD said the crash was an intentional act of violence towards randomly chosen pedestrians. Investigators have determined that Phillips did not know the victims.
Phillips‘s first target was a 61-year-old man, who he struck with the car. Phillips continues driving until he came across a pregnant mother and her 2-year-old. He mowed them down killing them in the process. The rampage of murder came to halt once he crashed his car into the fish market. The crash injured one additional person.
Phillips was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder. Detectives believe more charges can possibly be filed such as first-degree murder charges in the death of Cahoon's unborn child.
