Pillsbury is conducting a nationwide recall of flour packaged under the popular Pillsbury brand due to concern that the product may be contaminated with salmonella.

This is the second recall of the year for flour that may be contaminated with salmonella. General Mills also recalled nearly 10,000 packages of unbleached flour sold nationwide.

The FDA alerted consumers to the flour recall in a tweet on Monday. The agency urged consumers not to eat the recalled products sold at retailers including Publix and Winn-Dixie.
Remember, flour is not a ready to eat out of the package food. In needs to be cook in someway before consuming.
Salmonella is a bacteria that infects about 1.2 million Americans and cause 450 death each year, According to the Centers for Disease Control. Salmonella will typically causes diarrhea and fever & food is largely the source of the infection.
Always wash your hand before you eat & Always cook your food thoroughly.
