Since 1998, 606 entertainment has provided historical promotions for Hip Hop events at Wicker Park’s “Subterranean”. Throughout the decade, this open mic weekly has attracted the broadest spectrum of audience, and talent, bringing together people to bear witness to the rawest form of hip hop.. “2 TURNTABLES & A MIC”.  606 Tuesdays has caught the attention of many celebrities including Common, DJ Muggs, Heavy weight boxer Fres Oquendo, Malik Yusef & even actor Wood Harris (Paid In Full), have frequented   the legendary night..  606 also housed many headlining acts such as Bahamadia, Slum Village, Mystic, Zion i, & Rhymefest.  The night has also been the backdrop of multiple music videos, documentaries, television programs, and the national “Koolmixx DJ Battles.
